Anthony Cabrera | Impacting Chicago
Filipino American from Orange County, California. Although born in a Catholic Church, Anthony spent his early years attending a Christian school along with growing up around Christian values. However, it wasn’t until an encounter in college where a relationship with God truly changed and impacted his life. In the spring of 2010 at the University of Memphis, Anthony was encountered by a community of students and staff who were compelled by the love of Jesus and he was forever changed by the Gospel. Now, he lives in Chicago and has been given the privilege to do the very same thing that forever changed his life in college now at the University of Illinois at Chicago. With the help and desire of a devoted staff team, Campus Outreach at UIC strives to reach college students with the Gospel in hopes of changing the narrative of the city and impacting the world.
Will you consider investing in the ministry?
Community Builder
Family and Community are key aspects of the Filipino culture. While living in Memphis, it was Community and being part of a Family where the Gospel came to life. It is my vision and dream to build a community of believers in Chicago
Coach
God has placed love and passion for coaching, mentoring, and building up men, and seeing them flourish in what they do. I have been given unique opportunities to “coach” in the city of Chicago with the goal of making God known.
Minority Leader
In Chicago, there are over 190 different nations represented. Minority leaders is not a stat you see every day let alone minority college minister.
