Growing up, Rahsaan never had a strong faith foundation. His family wasn't very faith-oriented, and none of his friends were. The only real source of God he had while he was younger was his grandmother, who took him to church a few times when he was very young, which had minimal impact on his life. He lived in a way uninfluenced by God until he was an adult in college. Coming to faith towards the end of his college career, he came across a community that embraced him in his walk. This community was Campus Outreach, a group dedicated to helping students start, rekindle, or grow in their faith. Having this community around him made God more evident in his life, as they loved him as a brother and had leaders who would teach him the Bible and encourage him in a God-Led lifestyle. This helped him grow a heart for people who don't know this love yet and haven't had the pleasure of having God's people by their side, as most college students don't. He recognizes the urgency of the calling to help people know him deeper, and he wants nothing more than to work for the Kingdom of God in that way.
