Karis Buendia | Designing God's Vision for Healing
Karis Buendía hails from the beautiful, albeit chilly, beaches of Lima, Peru. Her life was profoundly transformed by God’s love during her senior year of high school—a moment she will never forget. Since then, His grace has guided her on an incredible journey, from studying architecture in the United States to developing a deep passion for missions.
As she sought to understand how architecture and missions could intersect, God led her to Engineering Ministries International (EMI), a Christian nonprofit that unites architects, engineers, surveyors, and construction managers to design and build facilities that serve both communities and the Church. At EMI, Karis discovered a unique opportunity to blend her professional skills with her heart for ministry.
This year, she is stepping out in faith to join EMI as a fellow. She invites others to journey with her, prayerfully considering a partnership in support of her ministry.
