Israeli Mathis | International Worker
While training as a Professional Dancer in Philadelphia, PA, Israeli began investigating her faith (a relationship with the Father). This began a three-year journey of learning what it means to lay down your life & follow Him.
In 2022, Israeli was introduced to her organization.
With much consideration, Israeli moved to Richmond, VA in 2023, went through a cultural immersion program, and spent 90 days in the Middle East. There, she added strength to the local community, engaged in mentoring relationships, served the local people, grew compassion for others, and had FUN!
In response, Israeli have said "yes" to the call and committed to move to the Middle East. She will serve a two-year term, working to establish a base for local & indigenous engagement, service to the underserved, and hosting creative-centered gatherings.

Israeli has given a decade of her life to dance and the performing arts; She now uses her skill sets and anointing to display the majesty of her creator.
Pioneer.
In saying yes to serving with her organization, Israeli pioneers a way for more Black, Brown, and POC to see an onramp to this work. Helping close the massive gap of POCs in long-term international work. Israeli will be one of three African Americans serving long-term overseas with her organization.
Creative Host.
In the base overseas, Israelis’ gifts of playing guitar, singing, and co-leading group engagements will be used weekly as the base hosts small and large groups at the weekly gatherings.

Israeli is a gifted instructor, having a heart and passion for dance and sharing her talents with those around her. She has the ability to connect with children and adults alike, helping them learn how to use their bodies to dance and exalt their creator.
